Letter from Nearly 200 Groups: Protect Evidence-Based Teen Pregnancy Prevention Programs

Letter from Nearly 200 Groups

Nearly 200 national, state and local groups who strongly support continued federal investments in the evidence-based Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Program and the Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) signed a letter urging Congress to continue funding this valuable program.  These evidence-based programs represent strategic investments by the federal government to address the nation’s high rates of teen pregnancy, improving the lives of future generations and reducing costs to taxpayers.  Furthermore, initiatives to reduce teen pregnancy contribute to progress on a host of other critical issues that are important to Americans, as the diversity of groups on this letter demonstrates.
