Survey Says: November 2014: #ThxBirthControl
Birth control matters. The ability to plan, prevent, and space pregnancies is directly linked to more educational and economic opportunities, healthier babies, more stable families, and a reduced burden for taxpayers. Birth control is also ubiquitous. Among women who have had sex, 99% have used birth control. The survey results presented here are more evidence that support for birth control—among Republicans and Democrats alike—is widespread. Most think it would be beneficial if more spoke openly and honestly about birth control and three-quarters support policies that increase access to birth control.
