Briefly: What Home Visitors Can Do to Help Their Clients Achieve Adequate Birth Spacing and Avoid Unplanned Pregnancy

This Briefly has been developed for home visitors and for sites implementing home visiting programs. It provides information on why pregnancy planning—and, in particular, adequate birth spacing—matters for the health of both women and infants as well as their families. It also offers simple guidance for home visitors on how to discuss pregnancy planning and spacing as part of home visits.
