Birth Spacing and Pregnancy Planning/Prevention in Home Visiting

On June 17, 2014, The National Campaign hosted Birth Spacing and Pregnancy Planning/Prevention in Home Visiting. This webinar featured experts from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Maternal and Child Health Bureau under the Health Resources and Services Administration; the Administration for Children and Families; the Office of Population Affairs; Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) grantees; and The National Campaign. Speakers discussed the importance of helping young and new parents to think about when or if to have additional children, how to help them support the children they already have, how to have healthy future pregnancies, and how they can achieve their goals. Presenters provided important information on modern contraception, access to contraception, and resources for home visitors.
